Worked in Deloitte's Audit & Assurance practice, supporting engagements for two of Korea's four major financial holding groups.
- Prepared cash flow statements, reviewed supporting materials, and built client-facing PowerPoint deliverables for audit engagements.
My first close-up look at how large organizations actually run day to day.
SNUTI to Silicon Valley

A university program exploring the startup and tech ecosystem in Silicon Valley.
- Visited startups and major tech companies, met founders and mentors, joined a hands-on hackathon, and helped guide first-year students during the program.
This was what first got me genuinely curious about startups.

SNU Buddy
Korean Buddy · February–July 2026

A student-led organization under SNU's Office of Global Affairs that helps exchange students settle into life at SNU and in Korea.
- Helped plan and host activities for a community of 300+ exchange students.
- Awarded 1st place — "Best of the Best Buddy" — among all Korean buddies.
I'm genuinely so glad I joined. I made some really close friends through SNU Buddy, and it made that semester the most fun I've had in college so far.

- Researched LLM-based ASR/TTS error correction and computational efficiency.
SNU Quant & WorldQuant BRAIN

Quant
SNU Quant is a student quantitative finance research club at SNU, with research and presentations connected to WorldQuant BRAIN.
- Built alpha models with cross-validation and structural stability tests.
- Presented robustness research to WorldQuant Korea professionals and was selected as the top team among all presenting university groups.
Hansung Nobel Gifted Scholarship program

Community
Selected as a Hansung Nobel Gifted Scholar in high school (2022); returned to the program's 3-night, 4-day camp in August 2025 as a mentor for its incoming scholars.
DB GAPS Global Asset Allocation Competition

A global asset-allocation mock investment competition hosted by the DB Kim Jun Ki Cultural Foundation and organized by DB Securities.
- Researched equity markets and macro trends to build a diversified allocation strategy, applying mean-variance optimization and stress testing.
- Delivered a 5.16% cumulative return over two months.

Hosted by the National Library of Korea. Built an emotion-based book recommendation prototype using library data and APIs.
Bank of Korea Policy Contest
Monetary Policy Analyst · April 2025

A policy contest hosted by the Bank of Korea, focused on monetary policy forecasting.
- Forecasted central bank policy rates through econometric modeling, and ran interest-rate sensitivity analysis on capital markets and corporate valuations.
SNU IE Student Council

Leadership · Community
Led the department's 7-person communications team, running projects that connected current students, alumni, and the department.
- Ran PIE (People in IE) and TIE (Talk with IE) — interview and speaker series connecting current students with IE alumni.
- Organized department networking events, including securing a corporate sponsorship, and managed the department Instagram.
I liked being a bridge between students and the department. Leading my own team also taught me a lot about responsibility and what it means to represent a group.

SNU S-ENS — Society of Engineering Network and Service

Community
A College of Engineering service organization that runs engineering education and mentoring programs for younger students.
- Led hands-on engineering experiments and mentored middle and high school students across a 3-night, 4-day winter engineering camp and a summer camp.
- Volunteered 70+ hours in total.
The most rewarding part was becoming someone the students could actually rely on. I still keep in touch with some of them even after they started university!

3D Geometry Encryption Patent
Patent · Co-inventor
Co-developed an encryption and decryption method using normal vectors in 3D geometry.
9th Cohort Hansung Nobel Gifted Scholar

One of about 180 students selected nationwide each year — one of Korea's most competitive gifted-student scholarships. Established to support gifted young scientists and future researchers.
